Ouran High School Hellfire Club.
metalsnakezero on March 17, 2010
I never found Moe as sexual but something cute.

The thing about the anime version of Hidamari Sketch is that is slow and relaxing which is a good thing. Read my review to find out more.

If you want good US made manga. Check out the selections from Antarctic Press. The works from Ben Dunn, Fred Perry, my artistic idol; Adam Warren, and Joe Wright.

The way the comics toss around the name Hellfire Club is silly. The real world Hellfire Club was just a bunch of high socialite men who got together to have sex with young women. Ben Franklin was a member.

In the US comics. Kitty did phase through the floor during sex. I believe it was in Astonishing X-Men #14 just after the return of Colossus.

I am certainly not a big supporter of fan fiction. Non Canon works I really don't enjoy and I don't like Canon works being altered. I did work on a fan fiction project of Evangelion that was turned into an online audio manga. Though, I was paid to work on that.

I really adore Shirow Masamune's works.

I'm currently watching the Hidamari Sketch anime and I'm enjoying it so far.  I can see what Ana is talking about it being slow, it is slow.

It is and that's why I'm really digging it.  Getting right of the bandwagon from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, it's nice to slow down from the craziness from that show.  I can also see the comparisons to Lucky Star.  Since they are both 4-panel comics, the mangas, they are both random and goofy.  Unlike Lucky Star, this show has a slow pace.  I thought Lucky Star was a little to fast with the dialog sometimes and it was kinda hard for me to keep up with it.

Enough of me blabbing, another great podcast.   :)

On a goofy side note, I can here you guys podcasting in the background in THIS Giant Bomb video.

@John_Martone:  But not knowing is part of the fun!

EDIT: Heard the background chat of Jeff, Ryan, Brad and Vinny from their one of their Mailbag videos. Reminds me of when I was watching said Mailbag video and heard this very podcast being recorded in the background. Whiskey Media background chat ftw.

@John_Martone: Does this mean that Evangelion: Campus Apocalypse is going to become a shoujo?

I am still sadden by the fact that I have to wait 8 more months until X-Men: Misfits Vol. 2

@AHR: I haven't seen in canon Marvel the kissing/phasing scen like it was in the manga (which I agree was totally amazing!), but in Astonishing X-Men she phases while having sex... which I find funny!

Did you guys read what Vol. 2 is about?
Acording to the oficial book decription more girls will join the school!
I found an interview:

COMING IN 2010: HINTS AND TEASERS FOR X-MEN: MISFITS VOLUME 2
Q: Are there any plans of having more female X-Men appearing in the second volume?

Raina Telgemeier: We'll have at LEAST three more female characters in Volume 2.

Tricia Narwani: Yes, we've been reviewing the character designs for those mystery characters. Very exciting!

Q: Is there a tentative release date for Volume 2?

Tricia Narwani: Yes, it's set for Fall 2010. Dave and Raina's script for Volume 2 is done and it's just amazing. We're now working out the character designs for the new characters.

Raina Telgemeier: It takes a LONG time to draw a book that length. It was about a year between each of my Baby-Sitters Club releases, too... and I draw FAST. I can draw about 5 pages a day, when I'm really flying. I give Anzu a ton of credit for working as fast as she does! So, a year to draw a single, 160-page graphic novel is actually pretty quick.

Q: Are any more Marvel properties going to be "manga-fied"?

Tricia Narwani: There are no official plans just yet for more Marvel manga. We've been really gratified by the fan reception for X-Men and Wolverine so far though!

As for the Kyonko... i still think that it should be added to the canon Haruhi continuity... In the Kyonko forum I added an idea:

Haruhi and Kyon fight over why their lives are so difficult...

Kyon: What you think it's easy to be me?
Haruhi: You think it's easy to be me!?
Kyon: You couldn't last a day in my shoes having to put up with all the crap YOU come up with!
Haruhi: You have no idea what it is like to be me having to be leader of the Brigade and all the negative comments you give!
Kyon : Leader? A leader thinks of others, you just boss people around for pleasure. Doing that would be easy.
Haruhi: Well I'd like to see you try being me...

Cue Freaky Friday moment... and the genderbening begins (thanks to Haruhi's powers)!

This should totally be a story arc in the manga and anime!

As for the Twilight/TItanic/JoBros talk: You guys forgot to include N Sync!

Great Podcast guys... This time I almost understood everything you were talking about!

I was falling asleep so much during Hidimari Sketch. It is really slow where nothing happens.
YotaruVegeta on March 19, 2010
I would say that for some hot Shadowcat action, the best place to find it would be in Joss Whedon's run on X-men.

Squadcast 33: The Worst Podcast Ever

Okay, it's not really that bad. But confess, the name caught your attention, right? Gia, John, and Ana are all sore from paintball, which colors the entirety of the podcast. And by "colors" I'm talkin' bruise-brown and blood-red.

Gia, Dawn, and Naomi chit-chat about the latest topics. Somehow a lot of yaoi comes up this week. We also celebrate the Squadcast's "21st," and promise that it will be the last time we make a big deal about our age. Well, except maybe for when we reach 100!

...And all we got was this lousy podcast.
